Our SRE Teacher:
Ben Waters

My name is Ben Waters and I'm the Special Religious Education (SRE) Teacher at Whitebridge High School. I'm authorised and approved to teach SRE by the Baptist Association of NSW & ACT, and endorsed by the NSW Department of Education.

I studied theology at Moore Theological College (B. Divinity), and have had many years of experience teaching young people about the Christian Faith. My family are members of Warners Bay Baptist Church (WBBC) where I serve my church community as a worship leader, and Bible Teacher/Preacher for the Evening Service.

Friday Night (7-9pm) I'm part of the leadership team of IGNITE, a youth group for Years 7-12 at High School, where young people hang out, play games and learn from the Bible about following Jesus.

When I'm not teaching SRE, I'm usually hanging out with my family, making coffee, walking my dog, or playing guitar.

SRE is a great place to come and in a safe environment investigate the big questions of life from a Christian view point. I look forward to meeting you.
